Seeking an experienced billing specialist with 2 years of experience in medical billing for a full-time position. Billing specialist will be expected to post payments, work ARs (accounts receivable), fee schedules, insurance verification and obtaining prior authorizations. Proficiency in scrubbing outgoing claims and familiarity with CPT and icd10 codes is expected. Flexibility and reliability are essential. Billing specialist is expected to provide excellent customer service and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
We are looking to hire a detail oriented scribe with at least 1 year of experience in Ophthalmology. Scribe duties include managing clinic flow while documenting all patient encounters with the physician in our EMR system. This includes exam findings and retinal imaging interpretations. Scribe must be well versed in medical terminology and willing to educate patients as necessary. Will be required to assist physician in minor procedures such as ocular injections and lasers. Must be able to travel to various satellite locations with clinic. Knowledge of retinal coding and understanding the use of modifiers is expected. Flexibility and reliability are essential. Scribe must be able to integrate in other areas of clinic, such as routine diagnostic testing and patient screening.
Front Desk Specialist
We are seeking a detail oriented team player for a front desk position. At least 1 year of experience in a medical office required. Flexibility and reliability are essential. Will be required to manage clinic scheduling, and obtain payment from patients. Manage patient check in/check out while verifying insurance and patient demographics. Will be required to answer phones, send faxes, and obtain medical records. Must be able to travel to various satellite locations with clinic, and provide exceptional customer service with every patient interaction. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Clinical Research Coordinator
Seeking an experienced clinical research coordinator to conduct and fulfill a full time position, working in a private practice with a Team of Retina specialists. This individual will be involved with all aspects of clinical research duties, including observation of human subjects, subject recruitment, consenting, data analysis, etc. This applicant should be knowledgeable and have prior experience working in regulatory affairs, with medical equipment, have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as computer skills. This individual should be proficient in multi-tasking and working in a fast paced environment. A bilingual individual and prior ophthalmic technician skills is recommended, but not required.
